Rose M. Miller

Eden Mills-Rose M. Miller, 53, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Copley Hospital in Morrisville. She was born October 22, 1963 in Morrisville, the daughter of Gordon Clayton Miller and Charlotte Dunham Miller.

Rose loved flowers, growing and selling plants, family holiday meals (even though she was a stickler of whom should be in kitchen with her), Rose loved visits from her family, especially the children. She enjoyed crocheting with Morganne and baking with Chelsea. She was always baking goodies and sending them home with whomever came to visit. Rose was a hard worker.

She is survived by her long-term companion, Lewis “Butch” Jones, Sr.; her eldest son, Shaune R. Miller and wife, Tawnya of Wolcott; grandchildren, Logand Anthony (Casper) Miller and Morganne Ashley Terry; her siblings, Philip Miller, Fannie Miller and Patricia Boomhower all of St. Albans; Clayton Miller and Arthur Miller of Belvidere and Phyllis Grout of Waterbury Center. Rose had many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews of which several she grew up with as she was the baby. Rose also had her “adopted” nieces and nephews that she loved and treated like family.

She was predeceased by her parents, two sons, Anthony (Sweet Pea) Miller and Philip Keough III; a brother, Richard Miller and sister, Susan Miller.

A graveside service is planned for Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hooper Cemetery in Hyde Park. Faith Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be made by visiting faithfh.net.
