Sharon Lanpher

Johnson-Sharon Lanpher, 64, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was born March 6, 1953 in Morrisville, the daughter of Everett and Janice Morey Wallace. She married Gary L. Lanpher on Feb 12, 1972 at the Second Congregational Church in Hyde Park. He predeceased her on February 9, 1985.

Sharon enjoyed gardening, fishing, snowmobiling and liked to read. She was an avid NASCAR fan and her favorite driver was Jimmy Johnson. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching sporting events. She also loved her loyal dog, Bella.

She is survived by her children, Ian Lanpher of Stowe, Brock Lanpher and wife, Katy of Cairo, Egypt and Jill Lanpher and partner, Zadock Masson of Johnson; grandchildren, Alexander, Victoria, Caleb, Jacob and Parker Lanpher and Landon and Lexalee Cubit; her father, Everett Wallace of Hyde Park; her siblings, Shelley Jones and husband, Brian of Eden; Sheila Coolum and husband, James of Johnson and Robert Wallace and wife, Sandra of Hyde Park; her long-time friend, Peter Sarabia. In addition to her husband, Gary, she was predeceased by her mother, Janice Wallace.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Faith Funeral Home, 165 Brooklyn St., Morrisville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the Second Congregational Church in Hyde Park with interment to follow in the Jedediah Hyde Cemetery. Following the interment a potluck luncheon will be held at the Hyde Park VFW.
