Kenneth A. Brier, Sr.
Johnson-Kenneth A. Brier, Sr., 66, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, April 9, 2017. He was born January 23, 1951 in Franklin, VT, one of twelve children of Ernest Edmund and Rose Anne Morin Brier.
Ken had worked as a police offer and a security officer and was also a hunter safety instructor. He attained Master’s Degrees in Political Science and Sociology.
Kenneth’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, family gatherings, telling old stories, camping and motorcycles. He was a lover of animals with his favorites being cats and birds, but he also loved tigers, wolves and lions.
He was active in his community volunteering with the Boy Scouts, Fish & Game and the Bethany Birches Camp.
Kenneth is of Abenaki heritage and loved learning more about our ancestors and the ways of our people.
He is survived by three children, Katie Brier of Morrisville, Rosemarie Stambaugh of Brookline and Kenneth Brier, Jr. of Johnson; 9 grandchildren, Skyler Cochran, Dylan Cochran, Calvin Cochran, Maverick Cochran, Caleb Hislop, Bailey Hislop, Tristan Hislop, Trinity Hislop and Bentley Stambaugh.
